YSI Webinar | Vehicle Platforms from YSI

Almost any outdoor application that requires a YSI or SonTek sensor (or both!) can collect more data, more safely, faster and with less expense by deploying sensors on a vehicle platform. YSI collaborated with global experts to design the HYCAT, i3XO and rQPOD vehicles. These platforms can go anywhere, carrying not only our sensors but also side scan sonar, advanced DVL, and more.

Our vehicle platforms are used for applications such as:
Bathymetric and hydrographic surveys of reservoirs
Investigating bridge scour
Search and rescue missions
Seagrass mapping
Harmful algal bloom dynamics
Discharge measurements
Locating unexploded ordnance
